The outer layer is made of 70D nylon fiber, which is treated with the Calender calendering process to form a 0.01mm micro-convex texture on the surface, which can not only reduce the area of rainwater adhesion, but also improve the tear strength (warp tensile force ≥ 350N) through the physical structure.
The middle layer is a 20μm thick expanded polytetrafluoroethylene film with 1.4 billion micropores distributed per square centimeter. The pore size is only 0.2-0.3μm (smaller than the smallest raindrop diameter of 20μm), but it allows water vapor molecules (diameter 0.0004μm) to pass freely. Laboratory data shows that at 25℃ and 65% humidity, the fabric can breathe 8000g/(㎡・24h), and the sweat produced during hiking can be quickly discharged to avoid condensation of water droplets on the inner surface.
The inner layer is made of 15D polyester mesh, which not only controls the overall weight at 45g/㎡ (only 1/5 of traditional PVC fabric), but also reduces direct friction between the fabric and the skin, improving wearing comfort. After 5,000 bending tests, the waterproof performance still remains above 5,000mm hydrostatic pressure (equivalent to the protection standard of 2 hours of continuous heavy rain), suitable for urban commuting, outdoor cycling and other scenarios.
