Lightweight Water Repellent Fabric for Raincoats

This Lightweight Water Repellent Fabric for Raincoats is based on a blend of 65% polyester and 35% nylon, and has achieved excellent practical performance through a special process. ​

The fabric weighs only 85 grams per square meter, which is 40% lighter than traditional raincoat fabrics. It does not feel heavy or restrictive when worn, and is suitable for long-term outdoor activities. Its surface uses fluorine-free waterproof coating technology, which can quickly condense and slide off after water droplets come into contact. After testing, the inside of the fabric can still remain dry after being worn continuously for 2 hours in moderate rain conditions, effectively avoiding the discomfort caused by water seepage in ordinary fabrics. ​

The fabric has a breathability of 5000g/24h, and sweat can be quickly discharged through the fiber gaps, solving the problem of traditional waterproof fabrics being stuffy and airtight. At the same time, after 50 wash tests, the waterproof performance still maintains more than 85% of the initial state, and the durability meets the needs of daily long-term use.​

In addition, the fabric has a certain elasticity, with a stretch rate of 15%, which can adapt to limb movements and will not tear due to excessive movements. It is suitable for various sports scenes such as cycling and hiking. ​
