This Furniture & Auto Cover Water Repellent Fabric is designed for furniture and car covers, and its core advantage lies in its directional water repellent performance. According to laboratory tests, the nano-scale hydrophobic layer formed on its surface can keep the contact angle of water droplets at 110°-120°, achieving more than 90% of liquids rolling off instantly, effectively blocking rain, beverage splashes and daily moisture penetration.
The fabric base adopts 600D Oxford spinning structure. After special padding process, while maintaining a moderate weight of 280g/㎡, the tear strength is increased by 40%, and it can withstand extreme temperature differences from -30℃ to 70℃, avoiding brittleness or cracking in long-term outdoor use. For furniture scenes, its softness can fit the curved surface of sofas and mattresses without damaging the leather or fabric surface; when used for car covers, the warp and weft stretch rate is controlled within 5% to ensure that it is not easily lifted by airflow during high-speed driving.
It is worth noting that the fabric has passed the EU REACH environmental certification and does not contain harmful fluorides such as PFOS. Daily cleaning only requires wiping with clean water, without the need for frequent use of chemical cleaners, which not only extends the service life of the fabric, but also reduces the potential corrosion risk to furniture and car paint.
