This Camping Gear Protective Water Repellent Fabric adopts a three-layer composite structure design. The outer layer is high-density nylon fiber, which is woven by a special process to form 0.1mm ultra-fine pores, which can not only block liquid water penetration, but also allow water vapor to be discharged freely, solving the problem of traditional waterproof fabrics being airtight.
The surface of the fabric is attached with an environmentally friendly fluorocarbon coating, which achieves a water-repellent effect by changing the surface tension. Test data shows that under the impact of 30ml of water flow per second, the fabric can remain leak-free for 24 hours. After the water droplets contact the fabric, they can condense and slide down within 0.5 seconds, reducing the fabric mildew caused by residual moisture.
The TPU film in the middle layer is only 0.08mm thick and has low-temperature resistance. It can still maintain flexibility in an environment of - 20℃, avoiding cracking of the fabric due to embrittlement during winter camping. The skin-friendly cotton knitted fabric on the inner layer can reduce the friction between the fabric and the internal items of the equipment, reducing the risk of scratches.
After 500 wash tests, the waterproof performance retention rate of the fabric is still more than 85%, and the tear strength is 30N. It can withstand the regular pulling of camping equipment during transportation, and is suitable for high-frequency use scenarios such as the bottom of tents, sleeping bag covers, and backpack outer layers.
