This Double-sided coated tear-resistant Raincoat Poncho / Cycling Clothing Fabric is designed for raincoats and cycling clothing, focusing on practical performance. The fabric is coated with high-density polyurethane on both sides. The front side is matte-finished, which feels smooth and non-sticky when in contact with the skin. The back side retains a slightly elastic texture to enhance the fit with the lining fabric and reduce friction and wrinkling during exercise.
The tear resistance is achieved by high-strength polyester filaments in the warp and weft directions. After testing, it can withstand a tensile force of 120N in the horizontal direction and 150N in the vertical direction. It is not easy to crack when it encounters branches or accidental pulling during daily riding. The coating seams are hot-melt glued, and the width of the glue strip is 1.2cm. It remains leak-free for 24 hours in a 5000mm water pressure test, suitable for use in medium to heavy rain environments.
The fabric weight is controlled at 180g/㎡, and the thickness is 0.18mm. After folding, the volume is only 60% of traditional waterproof fabrics, which is easy to store in a cycling backpack. It also has basic breathability, with a breathability of 3000g/㎡ every 24 hours, reducing the feeling of stuffiness after long-term wear. The weather resistance has been tested in an environment of -10℃ to 60℃, and the coating has no cracking or peeling, making it suitable for outdoor use in multiple seasons.
