This Lightweight Aircraft Tarp Low-Stretch Silk Oxford Fabric is made of 600D low-stretch silk as the base fabric material and is made through a special plain weave process. The weight is stable at 180-200g/㎡, which ensures lightweight while taking into account structural strength.
The fabric has a warp stretch rate of ≤5% and a weft stretch rate of ≤7%. In strong winds, it can reduce the displacement of the tarpaulin and avoid seam cracking caused by excessive pulling. The surface is treated with fluorocarbon coating, and the static waterproof level reaches 10000mm. The dynamic waterproof performance has passed 500 friction tests and can effectively resist rain penetration.
The silk process treatment forms a micro-elastic protective layer on the surface of the fabric. The tear strength has been tested to be more than 200N, which can withstand the impact of gravel and dust during flight. The fine texture brought by the Oxford weave makes the fabric have good breathability, which can reduce the condensation formed by the temperature difference between the inside and outside of the tarpaulin and protect the aircraft surface coating.
The fabric width is 1.5-3m, supports heat-sealing, and the seam strength maintains more than 85% of the original fabric, which is suitable for the coverage needs of different models. The UV aging test shows that after 1000 hours of exposure, the breaking strength retention rate is still 80%, which is suitable for long-term outdoor parking.
