This Aircraft Protective Cover Fire-Proof Fabric is designed for aircraft exterior protection. The core is made of aramid and glass fiber composite weaving technology. It has been certified by SGS to meet the UL94 V-0 fireproof standard. It will not produce molten dripping within 30 seconds of continuous burning at 800℃ open flame, and the flame spread rate is ≤50mm/min, effectively blocking the fire from transmitting to the surface of the aircraft.
The surface of the fabric is treated with Teflon coating, which has the characteristics of corrosion resistance to fuel, hydraulic oil and aviation cleaning agents. It maintains structural stability in the temperature range of -50℃ to 150℃, with a tensile strength of ≥600N/5cm and a tear resistance of more than 300N, which can resist friction and collision during airport ground operations.
Its air permeability is controlled at 10-15L/m²・s, which not only prevents water vapor from condensing inside the protective cover and causing rust on metal parts, but also reduces the temperature difference stress between the fabric and the aircraft through air circulation. The weight per square meter is controlled at 350±20g, taking into account both protective performance and lightweight requirements, and is convenient for manual quick covering or storage operations.
The fabric can be customized according to different models, and the edges are treated with high-temperature hot-melt edge sealing to prevent yarn from falling off. Under normal maintenance, the service life can reach more than 5 years. It is suitable for long-term parking protection on the apron and local fire isolation during maintenance.
